Employment at Will/Applications Policy

March 09, 2008

The Employment at Will/Applications policy is an affirmation by the employer, as well as the employee, that either has the right to terminate employment at any time, with or without cause; and that no offer of employment is valid unless made in writing and signed by the Company president and the perspective employee.

Subject: Employment at Will/Applications

Organization: Anonymous

Example of: Standard Policy

I understand that nothing contained in this application or in the granting of an interview creates a contract between the Company and myself for either employment or for the provision of any benefits. No promises regarding employment have been made to me, and I understand that no such promise or guarantee is binding upon the Company unless made in writing by the president and signed by me. If an employment relationship is established, I acknowledge that no consideration has been furnished to the Company for my employment other than my services, and I understand I have a right to terminate my employment at any time, with or without cause, and that the Company has the same right.
