Bobbie, The set of questions I have is not electronic - they are just hard copy. If I find them I will let you know and then we can figure out how I can get them to you.

THe SHRM material is good but expensive. I may have a set of questions that would be helpful that I could send you for free. Also, you might go through some HR books as a way to study. I do know that Sir Frey (Todd Ferguson) has taught the class before. You might contact him.

Yes, I have taken the SHRM PHR and SPHR exams. They are both tough exams.

All growth depends upon activity. There is no development physically or intellectually without effort, and effort means work

Memorial Day is May 25th. Here is a poem honoring this impending Holiday (may not be in your country but honors fallen soldiers)...
In 1915, Moina Michael penned a poem ("We Shall Keep the Faith") honoring the fallen soldiers remembered on Memorial Day:
"And now the Torch and Poppy red
We wear in honour of our dead.
Fear not that ye have died for naught;
We'll teach the lesson that ye wrought
In Flanders Fields."

For tough times some inspiration - Churchill 1941 - Harrow School - Supposedly Speaking on Success
As the story goes... the school members were sitting in anxious anticipation... there is a great sense of awe and drama as Churchill strolled into the auditorium... he approaches the center of the stage... purposefully removes his bowler hat... props his cane against the lectern... pauses.... gazes for some time at the hushed assembly... and finally says...
Success... "Never give in. [pauses] Never give in. [pauses] Never, never, never - on nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in, except to the convictions of your own honor and good sense."
He then replaces his hat... picks up his cane and leaves the stage!
Credited as one of his shortest and perhaps one of his most powerful speeches... apt for now perhaps
