I am very new to facebook and consequently don't have a lot of knowledge about it. I do appreciate your asking to be my friend. I am presently unemployed and looking for work. I am good with people, know something about IT, enjoy installing, training for and supporting new software. I have traveled the country before now to do just that and I loved it. I am honest, friendly, well educated and have worked at a variety of jobs that have given me much experience.

Memorial Day is May 25th. Here is a poem honoring this impending National Holiday...
In 1915, Moina Michael penned a poem ("We Shall Keep the Faith") honoring the fallen soldiers remembered on Memorial Day:
"And now the Torch and Poppy red
We wear in honour of our dead.
Fear not that ye have died for naught;
We'll teach the lesson that ye wrought
In Flanders Fields."

I no longer worry about being a brilliant conversationalist. I simply try to be a good listener. I notice that people who do that are usually welcome wherever they go. -Frank Bettger
